Arts Administration Interns: (+ see ALL INTERNS) Require college with a major in arts administration, having fulfilled at least 1/3 of arts administration curriculum. - Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, and possess creative and critical thinking skills. - Will assist in the day-to-day running of the theatre. - Will assist in the day-to-day running of this internship program. - Must have email access and a computer with Windows - A flexible schedule is needed for this internship. - If participating in the Enhanced, Tuition-based Internship Program, will assist at least one of the people mentioned under Workshops in the Toolbar / Assist Theatre Professional. |
ALL INTERNS will Create and Assistant Produce a Short Play Festival.
Interns will create an “Intern Show” which will be a Short Play Festival. They will create the festival from scripts written by the literary interns. The scripts will be developed in workshops headed by Sandra Nordgren, with interns giving feedback. Interns will do everything required to produce a successful festival including writing, acting, directing, assistant producing, stage managing, lighting and sound design, costuming, set design, running lights and sound, publicity, marketing, audience development, poster design-graphic-and generation, program design and generation, etc. Interns are expected to have a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-the-job-done attitude.
