Technician and Production Assistant Interns: (+ see ALL INTERNS) Consists of any, or all, of the following: Stage Hands, Running Crew, Lighting and Sound Technicians, Production Assistants. - Will train on state-of-the-art computerized lighting board. - Will be available for rehearsals for every performance unless another schedule is agreed upon with the director. - Lighting and Sound Technicians will maintain a written cue sheet and cue script. - Production Assistants will maintain prop, set and costume lists. - Production Assistants will set and strike stage, prop tables, and costumes. - If participating in the Enhanced, Tuition-based Internship Program, will assist at least one of the people mentioned under Workshops in the Toolbar / Assist Theatre Professional. |
ALL INTERNS will Create and Assistant Produce a Short Play Festival.
Interns will create an “Intern Show” which will be a Short Play Festival. They will create the festival from scripts written by the literary interns. The scripts will be developed in workshops headed by Sandra Nordgren, with interns giving feedback. Interns will do everything required to produce a successful festival including writing, acting, directing, assistant producing, stage managing, lighting and sound design, costuming, set design, running lights and sound, publicity, marketing, audience development, poster design-graphic-and generation, program design and generation, etc. Interns are expected to have a roll-up-your-sleeves, get-the-job-done attitude.
