Stephan Morrow is Artistic Director of the Great American Play Series, Director, Actor - http://stephanmorrow1.tripod.com)
Though the Great American Play Series Stephan has worked with, and directed works of, great writers such as Arthur Miller, Norman Mailer, Broadway veteran and co-writer of Tootsie, Murray Schisgal, and of late, John Steppling ('Dogmouth') a neglected dark but powerful writer.
A director, actor, and producer, Stephan is a well-established and highly respected member of the NYC theatre community.

June Rachelson-Ospa is a Broadway Producer, multi-awarding winning playwright, book writer, and lyricist. Among awards is the Kennedy Center's Very Special Arts Playwright Discovery Award. See June's bio under About Us.
Understanding Shakespeare - Francesco Campari and/or Anatol Yusef
Francesco Campari trained in Italy with Accademia del Teatro alla Scala and Centro Teatro Attivo. As a driector, he worked extensively with the great Peter Brook and Mamadou Dioume among others. He now lives in NYC where he has directed many NYC production. Francesao is a member of the 2011 Lincoln Center Directors Lab. He is co-Artistic Director of Fix It So Life Theatre Company - http://www.fixitsolife.com - along with Anatol Yusef.
Anatol Yusef was born in London and trained at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre school. Some of his extensive UK theatre includes critically acclaimed work with The Royal Shakespeare Company as a resident member; Young Vic; Birmingham Rep: Bristol Old Vic: and in the West End. Anatol has appeared in numerous Films and Television shows. He played Meyer Lansky in HBO's Boardwalk Empire and is currently in the TV Mini-Series Southcliffe. In New York he appeared as the title role in Richard III, as well as Jake in Harold Pinterʼs Moonlight at the Studio Theatre, Washington DC. He is co-Artistic Director of Fix It So Life Theatre Company - http://www.fixitsolife.com - along with Francesco Campari.

Matthew T. Carlson is a graduate of the Conservatory at Shakespeare and Company in MA. Theatrical Credits include, English: The Cherry Orchard (Petya Trofimov), King John (Queen Elenor), My Zinc Bed (Paul), Camelot (King Arthur), A Christmas Carol (Jacob Marley), Conversation with a Kleagle (Monahan), Three Sisters (Fyodor Kulagin). Theatrical Credits include, French: Les trois soeurs, (Alexandre Verchinine), Iphegenie in Aulis, (Menelas and Chorus), Sganarelle (Gorgibus). Theatrical Directing Credits include: Balm in Gilead (Lanford Wilson), Ivanov (Tchekhov), Les Fables (de La Fontaine), Uncle Vanya (Chekhov). Matthew is founder of La Compagnie-Libre, Paris, and The Old Orchard Farm Theater, Clinton NY. Workshops vary according to the experience and former training of participants.

Silence is the well-spring of creativity. Horses live in a silent world. The atmosphere around them is permeated in silence; it is tangible.
As Conscious Writers, silence enables us to hear our authentic voice in the back of our mind, that voice which is constantly chattering, informing us and dictating the flow of our lives. This workshop has an extra charge for transportation, lodging, and food. We in the process of formulating this workshop.

A gentle, non-intrusive look into our psychological processes which affect the way we deal with people.
This workshop is the gateway into the internship and to accepting all interns into the program with understanding and compassion.
The Art of Comedy - Mary Dimino and/or Andrew Goffman
Mary Dimino is the 2010 MAC Award Winner for Outstanding Female Comedian and winner of the 2008 Gracie Allen Award presented by American Women in Radio and Television. Her one woman show Scared Skinny won Best Solo Show Award in the 2010 NYC International Fringe Festival. She has appeared on Comedy Central, VH-1, HBO’s Chris Rock Show, sketches on Late Show with David Letterman, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and in dozens of national commercials. Mary teaches comedy writing at Hofstra University, The Learning Annex, SUNY-Ulster, and NY Stand Up.
Andrew Goffman began his theatrical training in the Off-Broadway show Grandma Sylvia's Funeral. After leaving the show, he began concentrating primarily on stand-up comedy, appearing at such venues as Caroline's, Catch a Rising Star, The Comic Strip, Rascals, and at Canada's Yuk Yuks. Film Acting Credits include: The First Wives Club and The Stand-Up with Kelly Ripa. His critically acclaimed one-man show, The Accidental Pervert, has had over 400 performances in NYC.

In addition, he studied and worked with the Directors of the National Theatres of Denmark and Holland. As an actor, Stanley has appeared in over 300 roles. His directing and teaching experiences are equally numerous.

The Workshop focuses on how your internal processes affect your work, what creative tools are available, how to reach and maintain creative levels, and - often neglected, but crucial to success - learning how to organize the way you work.
Stanley Harrison has successfully been teaching this workshop at 13th Street Rep since 1990.
The class utilizes techniques of the Russian teachers including Michael Chekhov.

Improv: How to Support Your Fellow Actor on Stage - Chris Fougere
Chris Fougere is a long time member of 13th Street Repertory Company. Having given innumerable improvisation workshops here at the rep and around town, Chris brings his improvisational skills and techniques to the forefront. He helps actors learn how to listen and respond to their partners, maintain focus in a short-attention-span-world, be spontaneous and trust their gut, work in a team-environment, and when stuck in an improv argument, how to move through the argument to move the improv forward. These are all skills that will enhance other areas of the intern's life.
